Anyone else seeing a lot of glitches on beta 2? Some of the animations glitch out constantly, especially in recents. It gets stuck in recents sometimes, and others it won't open the app correctly. Also, no weather on the AOD. And the make it mine colors are off. I have a grey and black wallpaper, but the notification count is pink... Seriously. Even changing it off of the make it mine it's still there. I guess that could just be an overall issue and not the make it mine thing. 🤷‍♂️

I definitely really like the changes. I do want the transparent notification menu, lock screen, and app drawer back though.

Beta 2 is worse than beta 1.... somehow. You'd think it would just be better. Anyways, only thing I'm experiencing are glitches. All my apps work just fine along with everything else. Nothing in beta 2 is a deal breaker.

I flashed the factory image via fastboot.

Do you still can do anything requires root fine?

I was able to at first and even completed steps to enable voLTE for my carrier and even activated call screen using an app to spoof as US carrier. But now anything requires root is saying my phone doesn't have root.

How do you get root with beta 2?

Anyone have issues with sending text messages? It seems while on wifi the cellular connection gets disconnected and it can't send the text. I figure it should still be able to send freezer via WiFi calling but it's too the point where maybe it just loses connectivity to t-mobile period. Toggling airplane mode usually brings me back.

Beta 2.1 pushed out with fixes for pretty much all the issues that I've been having. I flashed it like a half hour ago, so, can't really comment on it yet. Weather is back on the lockscreen though.

Has anyone had issues installing the beta through OTA once enrolled? My pixel 4 XL wouldn't install it at all after enrollment. It would download and install but after rebooting I got an error saying there was a problem installing and it would stay on android 11. I finally managed to get the beta to install by doing a full wipe. Now trying to update to beta 2.1 and I'm getting the same issue. It downloads then says installing but after the phone reboots I get the same error saying there was a problem with the install. I've tried around 8 times and it still won't update?
Any help would be appreciated

I have noticed little performance bugs but nothing too huge but can be annoying. Sometimes unlocking the phone I can't swipe or tap anything. Usually happens if I turned off the screen when running Android auto but does happen other times. An easy fix is to just turn off the screen then unlock it again. The camera app definitely has issues when switching between zooms. There's a huge delay and the viewfinder freezes.

One small thing that's bothered me because I did use it often was that beta 3 removed the shortcut to get to the clock app by taping the time in the notification shade.
I definitely have the same problem with the phone locking up until locking it again. Are you having any other issues with AA? My phone would think the app itself was running and would do some funky stuff. It would also show youtube music as just black when unlocking the phone. I enrolled in AA beta and the beta update fixed everything. Just FYI if you are having issues with it.

Did you guys clean flash the beta or did you install the OTA from the dev page?
I have tons of bugs on mine, having downloaded the OTA from the dev channel.
3.1 has not resolved any of them. I am wondering whether to wipe and do a clean install. The strange thing is that Beta 1&2 worked great for me...
I clean flashed beta 3 twice, still having some issues... 3.1 *mostly* fixed the UI crashes. I still don't get notification popups, nor notification icons on the AOD. It still gets stuck in recents sometimes. Just this morning it did that then locked up the UI for a bit. I'm glad I'm not the only one with issues! Google really needs to fix this stuff.

FYI, to anyone having the Android auto issue where it turns off the AOD and acts like the app is open (shows it is in the notification panel), I got on the AA beta, and the beta install fixed this.

After the second wipe, my battery life is all over the place. Some days it's really good, back to normal, others its just bad. I really hope they push 3.1 this week, and that it has a ton of fixes.
    They pushed 3.1 today.

Not exactly happy that we might not get beta 3 this week... I'm tired of the glitches and such that keep happening. I was looking forward to hopefully having those fixed this week...
Lol maybe you shouldn't be taking betas. It's all part of the fun

Wow, I switched over to pixel launcher and now I consistently have 1.3gb memory free. Nova wouldn't even show up on the memory usage list.

I'm keen to install but does anybody know if Barclays and Natwest apps work with 12 Beta?
Replying to my own question: yes, they work.

How did you get this style? I have this:
When you don't have any notifications the clock gets bigger
