Recieved OTA for XQ-BC52 just now.

Setting the resolution to max need to be reapplied while DPI was saved - looks aweful after restart.

:-( That sucks.
As I read now - you cannot use 4k on Android 12... Sony, why do you do this???
[EDIT]Also, power menu has no GPay anymore. Pulldown menu is much worse - no dedicated setting fow WiFi/mobile data anymore. System-menu looks aweful - it's so plain yet so bad. I cannot rebind the Google Assistant button. Notification-profile switches(above the volume) changed (to the worse).
But one positive thing at least: There is a quick setting for extra-dark screen.[/EDIT]

On a positive note 5G SA seems to work, but I'll probably not be in a cell that supports it until ~three weeks from now so don't hold your breath.

What the hell is this UI... everything looks so big. I tried to change "smallest width" from Developer options but it's useless. And now if I want to turn ON/OFF wi-fi/data mobile, I must press on Internet on top of the screen and then go back down and press again, even for my big hand It's quite uncomfortable.

Welcome to the beauty of modern GUIs....

Well times are changing.... Theses settings aren't as important as they used to be anymore I guess

Try using this app after granting adb and change the font scale option as well as changing the dpi from the developer options

This One hand mode on Android 12 is trash. If you activate it you only get upper half of screen. And if you enter in app then you are out of One hand mode. One hand mode on Android 11 was so nuch better. True One hand mode not this half made One hand mode.

Because the previous one was made by Sony for 21:9 Xperias. And this one's built-in by Google. It's fun to see whenever Sony makes something for its mobiles, then it gets integrated into Android :D like it was with face recognition.

Dial *#*#7378423#*#* to go to service menu and then software info to get software version. For example mine from HK is GLOBAL-C2 - user
How can I find out what region my firmware is currently? I have a 512GB XQ-BC72. I am using this device in the UK and everything works fine. I would imagine it is HK firmware as it was shipped straight from Chi
