No, I did at first but suddenly it was greyed out. I think it was because I downloaded c.10 from system settings without installing.

If the apps have a .zip/.jar extension, simply remove the extension from the name and install!

You can't flash ROM on A12 from recovery mode. Only local update from system settings with dev options active should work.
neither of these apps are working for me
with oneplus tools i can use local update(to do rollback) -its enter to recover but afer few sec just restart the phonei recovery i made format data then 7x time version to activate dev op but still no local update option
it seem i am stuck on indian version foreverRegarding BROM, it might be possible if you keep the C.01 preloader and lk.bin and flash everything else from C.10 manually but since C.10 has no BROM mode, it's not possible to dump its partitions in raw form for flashing. Closest you'll get is the files found in the OTA zip, but I flashing them using mtkclient will most likely not work. The only hope right now is awaiting a new BROM EDL exploit (perhaps BROM wasn't entirely disabled, just patched). Personally, I'm interested what OOS13 and its preloader will bring. Maybe BROM mode will be reenabled or who knows what.
last option was update via system settings to In c10 than still no option to local update but than i was mad and tapping like crazy on version like 20times then go back to system update and it was just 1 sec but i could touch the local update i dont know what happened but now th phoe just boot to Andriod 11 Finaly . Okay 2 days after updating my device i can say that i am experiencing quite a annoying bug.
Twice a day i have to restart my phone becausr it becomes unusable. (The go back and recent apps gesture stops working, apps starts crashing and keyboard wont open when clicking into a dialog window..). I am not sure if its just me who has this kind of problem but it is driving me nuts.. Oneplus should really do something about their systems..

OnePlus systems are handled by OPPO now. No Carl Pei - no OnePlus, imho.
We cannot expect polished , user friendly software from stock. And when they capped others way to customize, the things became harder.

Well as this is my first oneplus phone i have to say that i am very disapointed. I probably should have expected it when it utilizes mediatek SoC.. Well next phone is probably going to be another xiaomi or perheps a google one..

7After waiting many months for an update for my OnePlus Nord 2 Europe (EUEX), I managed to easily get the Android 12 update. Shortly, I installed over my EU Android 11 (with A.21 version and June patch security) the Indian firmware C.09 with September patch.
Phone is not rooted, bootloader is locked and has the orriginal recovery.
So in OxygenUpdater I selected India and full rom, instead of EU. After download, I shut down the phone, then by pressing Power and Volume down I entered recovery. I selected the desired language, then Local install and the firmware which is a file with long alphanumeric name. The full update takes no more than 5 minutes.
No data is deleted, the apps and the settings are there.
Greetings and credits to @asotmike who helped me.
Interface is buttery smooth, no lags, no bugs after 6 hours of playing with the phone. All functions work ok, Vowifi, Volte and 5g working fine in Romania.
For now, I don't know if there is an easy way to return to Europe version, without using MSM tools and losing data, so please everyone think well if you take the risk of making this movement.
