Usually DP1s are buggy, but I haven't found any real issues at all. All my apps work and Safetynet passes now, so gpay works.

You don't necessarily have to do a full wipe, but still I'm going from Android 11 to 12, thought it can't hurt. I can post my patched boot image, but it's always better if you just patch it yourself with magisk manager

I forgot which column row selection to pick. If I want 7 icons in the dock, 6 columns with 7 rows in homescreen, which one should I pick?

I'm using Magisk canary. However, I haven't done wipe my device

I wiped my pixel 3XL and didn't have any problems. Also, if you left any modules installed and didn't wipe, that would certainly create an issue.

Looks like the Kirisakura kernel will be dropped soon with support for 12. I *may* finally flash 12 if V4A works with 12 having a custom kernel.

Running so far without any issues best I can tell. I am not power user, but mostly work emails, browsing, cameras and most usual banking, social media apps are working without any issues.

Good look on the banking apps working - that was my biggest concern.

I typically wait til the first beta, to avoid [most] of those things.

One thing I did find that is not working is Individual notification for sms.

So, I got 12 rooted, but then tried enabling the safety net module to try to get gpay working, but now I'm on a bootloop. Does your script that fixes that work on 12?

Edit: I got it into fastboot and flashed the boot.img. Phone is working. I still need to disable the one module before I can root again I'm sure though.

So far 12 is ok for me. All my financial apps and emails are working fine. Camera is but buggy, but you have to disable social share, and it works better.
