So Android 13 just came out for Verizon in the United States. and the battery life is horrible.

I would say my phone uses at least 30% more battery per day. Hopefully somebody will figure out how to root this Beast soon although if it hasn't happened already it might not sadly. I would go back to Android 12 in a second if I could make it stick.

A settings reset helped most of the problems. Doesn't look like it helped battery drain much if it all though.

Yeah mine in the UK is still poor. It used to be amazing battery life prior to Android 13.

Tried turning off the 5G now to see if that helps. I've done everything else. The next step would be a hard reset but don't want to go down that route if I can avoid it.

I must say it seems like the battery life has improved. I did a settings reset but I don't think that did a whole lot. I have still got 5G turned off but now it seems much closer to where it used to be, it doesn't die anywhere near as quick, or drain when not in use.

I can see 4-5 SoT hours with a full day of use now and also if it's lightly used, 1-2 hours SoT with 2 days of use.
