Wow, tempted after watching the videos! No way without root though, I'm too spoiled using Tasker to automatically change watch settings.

Hold on, tell me about Tasker and Android wear? I have it on mobile to enable/disable wifi.

You need Wear Shell. There are posts there of how to use Tasker Intentsl
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android-wear/development/app-wearshell-t2902242

And a thread on Wear Shell + Tasker recipes.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...asker-recipes-wearshell-t3367531/post66749469

I use it to make watch bright when I disconnect from home or work wifi, and dim when I connect.

I also have it set to activate theater mode when I start my sleep tracker.

I am not impressed by the update, slow and a lot missing features, no more swipes from the right, this is to change watch faces now. And no more swipes for back action, you gotta press the button now to go back and to access apps... Let's see what improvements are in the pipeline.

you need newer fastboot, I had the same error before using the latest one!

for me, bluetooth is very unstable, no cinema mode (double press on the button shuts screen off), no gestures, and a lot of other minor glitches...

will revert back to M soon!
but if these things get fixed, it could be really nice!

How long does the initial boot take after flashing? I'm waiting here with the boot animation tormenting me!

The answer is: about 5 minutes! Patience is a virtue I'm lacking, clearly.

Has anyone managed to get it to stay connected to an iPhone? I paired it OK and then 2 minutes later it disconnected. Already having to factory reset the watch! Before you all spit at me, I've got a Nexus 6P as well, by the way. I like to chop-and-change between the two phones.

Swiping to the right to change the watch face.... I don't know who thought that was a good shortcut...
Also I can't get voice search to work :/

My bluetooth was unstable until I force unpaired from my phone's bluetooth, and reset the watch to factory. I think the phone was trying to bluetooth to both the new (2.0) and old (1.0) watch.
