That means you have something that isn't stock and the update won't work. The update patches existing programs, so they must be verified as stock.Same here. Looks like it works, until it starts to load and I get the "!" and nothing.
So regardless...going back to stock is step 1 I'm understanding either for ota or not?Change your date to the 9th then back, it will say you can try the update again.
I don't want to go back to stock only for it to still work. I'm hearing that this was an unintentional release and it's not meant to work. Can anyone confirm that it is working with solid proof? So regardless...going back to stock is step 1 I'm understanding either for ota or not?

James.
What error do you get? What verify step fails.I went stock and it didnt work
problem is following those instructions (koush's) u have to root (theres a SU command)
and to root the xoom using that one click root it installs some kernel right, so thats the 'non stock' part, , but is there ne other way
+1 to this.....Pics or I call BS.
But I'm receiving the update OTA, which doesn't require me to do anything other than let it download and install. If I'm stock, wouldn't the OTA update work? Since I wouldn't have to use anything that is required with root?definately the rooting process is changing something stock which is why it may b failing, if only there was some way to do it from all stock, lack of sd card sucks
If you're stock and you are receiving the update OTA then you should be able to update successfully. But I'm receiving the update OTA, which doesn't require me to do anything other than let it download and install.
