I am going to wait for someone to just modify the OTA to work with Tiamat's kernel or a CWR version. I can be a crack flasher with my phone but not that excited for the OTA where I cant wait a few days or more... A lot of wasted time has gone into trying to get this work when other people smarter than us are already figuring it out.

It's definitely going to be possible to install this thing without needing to go back to stock. I was able to get the entire update to install by deleting all of the system verification stuff out of the beginning of the updater script in the META-INF folder. But when I rebooted I got stuck at the Motorola logo. :(

Fortunately I did a Nandroid backup a few hours ago. It's restoring now. :)

I will post pics when I get back home.

Stock images from MOTO

Fastboot flash recovery, system and boot images. If u have a theme I gotta flash back to stock theme as well. Stock recovery flash update Usb using otg cable. All will get updated. I don't know if I can flash back clockwork or superuser but I will know in an hour or 2 for sure.

Agreed. Possible issues (I'm rooted and unlocked) to have it a few days early isn't worth it (to me). I assume even if I did make the attempt I would flash the developers upload anyway, so it only makes sense to wait it out.

Ok so here is a few issues. Flashing recovery after update = No go. It can flash and work but right after reboot the recovery is back to stock. Flashing superuser also no go. Right after reboot gone as well.

Flash at your own risk.
