That's strange. It says it can't but on my Moto E 2nd Generation with LTE, it's able to record VolteLTE calls without any problems. Difference is that it doesn't need a third party to make calls whereas OP2 users still waiting for a software update to fix this limitation from software side.
Well, if it worked on a specific device then the manufacturer has implemented things right. But if manufacturer didn't implemented it right - we can do nothing about it. So that's way FAQ says it's not possible technically to record these calls.

I'm having some problems with the bluetooth recording.
The problem is that when I dial, or when someone calls me, I answer in the bluetooth device and I hear like 1 second of the call then it mutes the sound (my bluetooth transmission to the other part still works it seems) and then to be able to hear the caller again I need to change sound source to "HTC One A9" and back to bluetooth again. After that I can hear the caller and they can hear me and the recording works fine.

I've tried all possible options in the standard recording settings for bluetooth devices, but nothing seems to fix it.

Any ideas?

Downloaded the latest beta today to see if it was fixed but still same problem.

Is it possible to change the file name just by changing the Contact Name when I edit the information on the after call popup box?

If I get an unknown call, but I want to edit the file name, I usually change the Contact Name from the unknown number to say "AMEXFraud", but then I'd have to change the unknown number in the file name to "AMEXFraud" as well. Would it be possible to autolmatically copy it from the Contact Name into the File Name?

I used to be able to just copy the Contact Name and then double click the FIle Name section and paste, but now that the number formatting has a space before the area code and dashes, I can't do that anymore. example it's now "1 800-297-8000" instead of say "18002978000". Double clicking the second format would highlight everything, while double clicking the first format would only highlight whats between the dashes of the touch.

I've a p9 lite not rooted, call recorder works but it seems that it records also with the second microphone and so if there is any noise in my ambient the voice of the other person is too low.
The app suggestes me to set in "other". Is there any workaround?
Any ideas?

Increase delay in Settings > Recording.
Doesn't seem to work I'm afraid. It only delays "the muting"

The choose output sound window displays as soon as the call begins, then when I see the green button turn red in top right for callrecorder the sound gets muted, then if I change to phone and back to bluetooth again it works as it should. Didn't have these problems like a few months ago I think. Running version 2.3.1.

Try the attached version. It has preset for your device. Also, increase delay before call recording in Settings > Recording, so that the app would start recording after the connection established. It's important.
I've done, thanks, it seems better but the voice of the interlocutor is quite low yet (with my old thl2015a the voice of the interlocutor was higher then mine)

Edit: I've tried with other persons, it works well, many thanks

I've another question: can I set AMR instead of wav as recording format (for the smallest dimensions)?

Looks like I may be trading in my Note7 for the Google Pixel XL, can anybody report on the functionality of Call Recorder with the Pixel phones?

The Note 7 worked perfectly OTB, and my next device needs to as well. I'm desperately hoping the Pixel will support recording over Bluetooth, as I always use a headset...

I didn't get any feedback about call recording on Pixel devices. But if it'll work, root will be needed. Google has never allowed to do call recording without root.

:crying:
I am so so so devastated by that answer, words cannot describe................... :crying:

I am hoping beyond hope that they break from their tradition... a guy's gotta have some hope right??? :fingers-crossed:

Do you have any suggestion for me (and every other soon-to-be EX-Note7 owner) on a High-end device that will play nice (Bluetooth recording is a must for me) with your Amazing App? Ideally a device carried by Verizon....

Thanks, and since I have your attention for a second, THANKS YOU for making this awesome app. It makes my life SOOOOOOOO much easier, and I appreciate that a lot. :highfive:

Now if only Samsung would fix their damn Note, instead of giving up on it.......

I'm making the jump to T-Mo and picked up a Note 4 as the last of the note series with a removable battery and an IR blaster.

Call recording is working great when on cellular, but I noticed that call recording does not work when using Wi-Fi Calling.

While I can definitely get by without T-Mo Wi-Fi Calling, I thought that Verizon Wi-Fi Calling did record properly with skvalex's Call Recorder.

Anyone have insight into getting T-Mo Wi-Fi Calling working with Call Recorder?

Thx.

(Great app by the way...been using it for years and buy new copies occasionally just to support the developer)

Can you show the presets for the Huawei P9 lite?

I tried the Version 2.3.2. Unfortunately it records only my voice (after 3 seconds I heard clearly my partner for only 2 seconds...) Can you please post the presets for the P9 lite?

If you try 2.3.2 upgrading from an older version you have to reselect P9lite in setup/recording otherwise the preset is selected but not applied.
In my VNSL31, c.r. 2.3.2 works very well.

Hey skvalex. I have a question. Please note this is NOT a complaint; I have been using your call recorder app since the HTC Thunderbolt days and I recommend it to everybody I come in contact with.

However, I have been trying for quite a few months to get it to work properly on my Nexus 5x. The "experimental" setting isn't really an option for me because it's way too low. So low that I can't really even hear the other person even when using my car speakers while driving. So I flashed supolicy_patch.zip as per the instructions. I am not sure what it was for, but unfortunately it has not fixed the issue. However, your FAQ also states to " sure that you're running SuperSU as superuser."

I tried Googling what that means and I am not really finding anything. How do I run SuperSU as a superuser? I have to admit I was under the impression that SuperSU was always running as a superuser. How do I do that?

And finally, is there any other things I can try on my Nexus 5x?

Anyway thanks as always for being so responsive in the community!

Hello guys, I've received my beloved Google Pixel XL today and I've been playing with it for a while now.

Happy to confirm that CallRecorder from skvalex works out of the box, NO ROOT NEEDED. You can hear pretty good both parts with these settings:

Device: Other
Method of recording: API standard

Cheers.

That's great. Have you tried recording over Bluetooth?
