Works flawlessly with A12, I have it even working with A13 Beta without any problem provided that you are rooted.

Making calls while driving has become needlessly dangerous. Even when we voice call, without taking our eyes eyes off the road, one still has to confirm each outgoing call by touching the phone screen.
the Call Confirm feature to bits and cannot live without it, but on the other hand it's so cumbersome when on Bluetooth and/or Android Auto. It would be such a relief to have an exception for that scenario.
If you have root, then the app can record phone calls from the phone line itself without the system recorder.
May I ask which option(CAF, ALSA or MSM) is suitable for my device (Oneplus 9 pro with Snapdragon 888 soc)?
I have looked into the help page, but found no answer there.
Use default Voice call uplink + downlink audio source. There should be a star before it if the app got root privileges
Hey, so I've used call recorder for a couple of years on a Moto G Power with no issues at all.
Recently I got a Moto G 5g and for some reason call recordings will sometimes sound very distorted. I've called my voicemail back to back and can not figure out why about 50% of my recordings are distorted even though it is the same number with the same volume.
Have you heard of this problem and do you possibly have a solution?
Edit: I'm using LineageOS if that helps.

Is there someone that can explain a bit what the setting "import after a call" does in system recorder settings? I do know what it does but i don't really understand why. Any help please?

No one has an idea please? I recorded some calls with and without this setting enabled and i see no difference. Trying to set up the app correctly on my new phone.
EDIT: it seems to be a setting for devices with Android 11 that use " Storage Access Framework" to import files from android/data

Unfortunately, the problem lies somewhere deep in proprietary Qualcomm's files, so I don't know a way to fix it
If the app records both sides by just granting root permissions, then no magisk module needed

Hi y'all, can someone point out how to deal with no sound recording from other side when using BT headphones?
I have Samsung a52s 5g android 12 and purchased CR app.
I can hear only myself in the recording(probably recorded through BT mic), other person remains silent when using BT device, and I tried every option in "Audio source when BT connected".
Also it seems like there's no built in call recording function in this phone, and root is not an option because all of the Knox shenanigans.
Would really appreciate the solution! Thanks

I assume you are referring to Google Voice working over Wi-Fi or mobile data. In this case the call is not running through the normal voice call audio stream and recording it is almost impossible.
If you change the settings in Google Voice to use the mobile network for the call, then recording will work as normal.

It will work without root but not perfectly. The voice of the other person will not always be audible. Calls via Bluetooth will not record the other side.

If you use tasker you can make a simple task at device boot to run the app and after a couple seconds go back to the home screen1
I did something similar with aProfiles, so I know how to get around that, but I'm wondering what might've happened that this specific app doesn't start in the background while others do and how to fix that?1spart0n's suggestion will work
That said I know many Chinese OEM 's add task killer / battery saver functions that affect apps. Have you hunted around the stock ROM settings for something like this? Posting in your phone's forum might help.
It's nothing specific to Magisk or skvalex's app. The solution is in your phone somewhere.

Call Recorder - SKVALEX is intended for automatic call recording. The app provides functionality to record both sides on devices with such support. But some devices don't have 2-way call recording support, or have issues with Bluetooth recording.

- Search recordings

Today I got the attached email from Google. The app is banned from the Play Store. I sent appeal, waiting a reply from Google. Hope they'll allow to reinstate the app. I think the issue was because of linking to AlsaMixer: https://github.com/skvalex/alsamixer

Google won't reinstate the app.
But I still can publish the app to the Play Store as a new one. So I'm working on it now. It gonna be a free trial app + another app to unlock the full version. I'll create an apk which will unlock the full version for people who have already purchased the app. So they won't have to pay for the app again. Also, I have to remove all root functions from the app which gonna be on the Play Store. So another apk with root functions will be on the xda.311.
