Hi. Will there be a fix for the application to record voip and wifi calls?

Voip recording works perfectly and without any problems. But recording doesn't work for wifi calls and the bigger problem is that if call recording is on, I can hear the other party but the other party can't hear me.

Google just released A13 QPR2 Beta 2 for it's phones from Pixel 4a up. The QPR2 Beta 1 broke your call recorder on my Pixel 6 Pro (calls were recorded but without sound on both ends). I reported this at that time and you mentioned that you are going to test it with your Pixel 6a, so far haven't seen any info about the issue. The Pixel 6P is my daily drive and call recording is a must for me, I can't afford to get it ruined by the QPR2 Beta 2, so I wouldn't test it this time instead would stay with A13 stable. Hopefully, you can figure things out as I am worried that features of the QPR would eventually dropping down to the A13 thus to cause your recorder breaking down.

Edit: I have sometime to spare the passed two days so I flashed the QPR2 Beta 2 on my Pixel 6 Pro to test the call recorder again! It confirms that exactly the same as the QPR2 Beta 1: nothing can be recorded on both ends. Went back to stable and really hope you have the time to look into this issue.

Hello @skvalex I am on oneplus 8 pro with oxygen 13. after update from 12 to 13 also facing a problem to give permission to Andoid/data folder. when I click the "Select Android/data folder in a new window to grant the permission" it's empty and I can't open it. I am not rooted.

Are you sure the system recorder does record calls into that directory? I don't own OnePlus device so I don't know how system recorder works after Android 13 update

I've got this update on my Pixel 6a today, but I can't get root due this https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/issues/6441

I know the issue, with P6 and P6P, people can use Magisk patched boot.img from P7 and P7P respectively to obtain back the root, too bad that there has not a 7a, and it looks like there has no way to resolve the issue for the time being.

Default settings should work on a rooted Pixel 7 Pro

No, workaround for 6/6 Pro is to install patched boot from 7/7Pro. But as there's no 7a, I can't install patched boot from it to my 6a

I don't know what's going on on beta versions of Android. Once I'll be able to root my phone, I'll be able to check what I can do

Confirm it is working wonderfully with my P6P! Thank you so much that you are able to get this fixed. Can you explain a little what did Google done in it's beta to caused the issue, also are we going to face the same again when the beta features dropped to the stable?

Edit: I saw you discussion there on GitHub topjohnwu Magisk to temporary solve the root issue, is there anything related?
