I also pressed both volume keys down and plunged it in to the computer, as soon as the 3 lights lit up ( back menu home) I released it, now the lights or lit and the screen is off and the lights won't turn off how can I fix ?

I think you need to use the pin hole reset feature, to get out of APX mode.

Sorry if this is dumb but how do I get my WiFi s7 only to show on my Mac in order to root and install this Rom?

I don't believe there is an NVflash version for OSX, you need windows I believe. Have you tried running windows through bootcamp or virtual machine in virtual box ?

Rom works awesome, never used the camera to begin with so it doesn't bother me and mine is wifi only as it is. The only problem I am having is my auto-rotate screen option is not working, it is selected but nothing happens when you turn it any way.

I am not sure if that is a problem with Android or the kernel. I do know that apps rotate.

Figured it out. I had gone threw the android settings and checked to see if auto rotation was on which it was. Looking threw the trebuchet menu I found auto-rotate under the general settings which wasn`t checked even through the android menu had it checked. All good now

I would have suggested that but when I do it through Trebuchet, the UI crashes hardcore on me.

Don't go anywhere near removing the Search from Trebuchet or it'll FC forever. Rotation seems to be stable.

This is based on CM9 on my Nook Color, haven't tried it yet on the DS7, although I'm about to.. HC on the DS7 has been horribly unstable for me, averaging 3-4 soft reboots a day and at least 5 hard freezes a week.

I usually have auto rotate off. My only concern is a few random FC here and there, and no camera, so no skype. This rom lasts FOREVER. My battery life is probably up 300% at a minimum. All day long with light usage: 77%. That would've been dead by 1pm on HC. I've switched via nofrills cpu to smartassv2 1.336 to 216. Going to test tomorrow at 1.4x... So far, AMAZING!

Am surprised there isnt more feedback...

I'm contemplating switching to this ROM, but I hate to lose my camera, hence my hesitation. I'm pretty tired of the stock honeycomb locking up all of the time.

I'm very interested in knowing more about this ROM...
