Sure does trivialize it...

# echo 1 >> /sys/devices/platform/shuttle-pm-camera/power_on

# echo 0 >> /sys/devices/platform/shuttle-pm-camera/power_on

woot, we're done!
I'll give that a try, but I have a feeling that is not in the kernel.

No such file or directory.

Been away for a while... just wanted to clarify some things before I flash B5.0.1:
If I'm on B4, do I need to wipe or go back to HC before I flash?
Are we not using the flash script that was included in B4?

I scanned and searched the forum but didn't find my answer...

Thanks,
Siobhter

It was right in the first post ;)
If you are on B4:
1. Restore to Android 2.2
2. Flash official HC update
3. Fastboot flash B5 images.
I'm sorry, I read that stuff on the OP wrong. Beta 5.0.1, here I come!

UPDATE: I'm having a hard time finding the stock files (thought I had them somewhere). I'm downloading the oldest Boot.img, Recovery.img, and Update.Zip from TheManii's Dev-Host account. Is that a good place to start?

TheManii had listed some stuff, some pages back.
Strange... if you change only export EXTERNAL and INTERNAL strings in boot.img - why i see TWO internal memories in system->memory?
I think wrong sdcard mounting in FW can do error "can't install to SD or USB"

SORRY FOR MY UGLY ENGLISH...
Hope you understand what I want to say )))

I followed the steps on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1018809 to restore back to FroYo. That boots, but when I flash the B5 system and boot img, I get stuck at the Dell boot logo.

I'm not sure the method described on the thread I linked to is rebuilding the partitions properly.

I tried downloading the stock images from TheManii's Dev-Host, but the files finish downloading before they hit the size listed in the D-H console.

Did you update to honeycomb
Did you do the " -w" when fastboot flash the images? Or did you try to flash the zip containing the images as a flashable zip?

That is the best place.
So you downloaded the zip file in my OP, extract its contents, and flashed those? I want to make sure we are on the same page.
Some people are getting confused in thinking this is a flashable zip that you would do in CWR, which it is not.
