Labs is shut down... Any chance of posting the apps somewhere Else? I need that wifi app, and am unsure if the app on Google Play is the latest? Beta?
So ever since the new 6.0 beta 5 update, I am finally able to use the 720p/1080p modes without crashing, Yay!
Unfortunately, every time I turn on my reverse camera or parking sensor the app crashes
I'm using an S160 android 4.4 head unit and a galaxy s10.
Hello, I tried the Trial version and it connects to the phone but just shows a Grey screen thou I can hear the song and amps running
Its the trial version from the play store, I've even bought the paid version.. Same result thou it is working with SW decoder but its very laggyBeta version has some issues. If you guys could send bug report is very welcome!, and I would recommend stick to stable and wait for another beta.
Thanks a lot for testing!
Now I am using The Bluetooth of my Android Screen, this is the setup for the new users, it is better for daily usage even if the sound quality is not so good, now I am working to make it better with USB sound card and new mic for the calls
Android Screen Audio (AUX to USB) feat. Android Auto Wireless:
1. Buy Headunit Reloaded not the Trial and install it to your Android Screen
2. Make a Personal Hot Spot on your Android Screen (name: HUR password: AndroidAutoConnect) and connect your Phone to this Wi-Fi/Hot Spot network
3. Start Headunit Reloaded on your Android Screen - click on "Settings" -> "Connectivity" -> "Littering for connection" TURN ON and "Enable HUR to control Wi-Fi network" TURN ON
4. Download Wifi Launcher on your Phone
5. Open Wifi Launcher on your Phone and connect to the Bluetooth of the Android Screen (Turn On "Stop Service on Bluetooth disconnection")
6. Restart Headunit Reloaded on your Android Screen and Enjoy
Android Auto Wireless Experience when you setup is done and you enter in the car aka every day expirience:
1. Enter in the car and Start Headunit Reloaded app on your Android Screen
2. Open Wi-fi Launcher app on your Phone and Enjoy
ONLY ONE ?: The only problem is when I did not close HUR (it is working on background) and I want to play a song for example from YouTube app of the Android screen the music from Android Auto from HUR is still working could you tell me is there is a way to pause it and if there is a setting option for this could be great

Both device have USB debugging enable the usb connection is good Thanks for the help.
I'm at work currently i will look toning but the Headunit could read a usb thumb drive but not a m.2 sata enclosure I'm guessing that the usb doesn't provide enough power? That sounds like a hardware issue. Can you see your phone in any other programs when it is connected USB?
If you are able to read the files on your phone like you do the thumb drive then you should be able to connect with HUR. Make sure you have the correct connection method selected on your phone. What is your phone model BTW?I'm at work currently i will look toning but the Headunit could read a usb thumb drive but not a m.2 sata enclosure I'm guessing that the usb doesn't provide enough power?
I purchased the app on xda labs. But since labs no longer available, where to download full version and beta version?
Can you please include what phone and HU device you have as well as any extra info you can include.Hi! I purchased the app today, and though the app worked fine the first time I connected the phone, after disconnecting and connecting again AA won't show up anymore. The app is automatically launched when the phone is connected but I only see the main menu. Nothing happens if I select "USB" and click the phone. Any ideas?
Car salesmen will do anything to get you in the showroom to unload a new vehicle on you. That said, this is a pretty clever ploy.Hi anyone using the native WiFi method, mine is working great accept when I go past a local car showroom AA disconnects and then hur closes down. Its the only place that this happens really strange
Just to expand on what Clarkie49 said, because this is getting tiresome..One question about wifi...do I have to enable the hotspot in the phone settings when wifi launcher is installed, or do I just leave it off and wifi launcher sets up the wifi?
Thanks for your patience.

Have you enabled the option to disable touch restrictions? That seems to mess up the GPS in some instances.Covid restictions have had me home bound for a while and I haven't had a chance to test HUR on a longer drive. I had a problem today.
I used Google Maps to guide me to a location 1.5 hours away. About 2/3 of the way there I noticed that the vocal instructions and map location on the screen weren't in sync. The vocal instructions were up to date with where I was, but Maps on the car display was behind, around 5 minutes. On the way back I used Garmin on the car deck and had no issues.
I don't know if anyone else has had this happen, or if it has happened if they figured out what it was and a fix.
Not a big problem, as I knew where I was going. But on a trip where directions are needed, this would have been a problem.
You know what, I thought I was in the AA wireless thread. But this may also apply to HUR. The option is called fake speed reporting or something like that in the GPS section. Play with that and the other option called GPS sharing, which I believe means Android auto will use the GPS of the tablet which sometimes is not that good.NO, I hadn't read anything about that. I'll check HUR next time I get in the vehicle. Thanks.
So the head unit is rooted as well, and you installed HUR... What year is it? Are you sure it has WiFi? When you go to settings-> connection in HUR, is the first option you see "use native wireless AA method", or "listen for incoming connection"?Mine is a Honda stock head unit running 4.2.2. HUR I'm running 6.3 B4. The headunit bluetooth card was compatible with native wireless when I installed 6.3, but never did connect. I have tried both types, wireless and via hotspot.
When I get a chance I will try your instructions today. My previous phone, a Pixel 2 stock worked fine when plugged into USB .
The only issue I have with USB, is that the phone will not go through HUR. So in other words, if I ask assistant to call someone the call goes through the phone speaker, with or without audio synced. I have selected and deselected the phone in bluetooth settings. The car deck is awful to make calls through. The bluetooth assistant is terrible and it forces me through several menues before i can connect and make a call.
Isn't that exactly what you just joined up to do?
You didn't join to ask a question. You could have started with telling us what device and Android version you are trying to connect with/to, and perhaps someone could help you constructively.
