Hi. Version 5.2 is OK for me. But all versions 6.3 are bad for my radio. The application always crashes.
Oh right the fire HD 8 2020 doesn't have a hotspot function in the settings but can be enabled via a 3rd party app
Works every time so far on my huawei tablet, doesn't pop up the dialog boxes asking you if you want to enable / disable Bluetooth. Brilliant work EmilJust pushed a new beta out, improved the native AA Wifi connection and fixed a few small other issues.

EitherShould we uninstall RC2 before installing this RC3 or can just install to overwrite existing version?
Could you please details the steps you took to get the connection working. I haven't had any success trying to make Native wireless AA to work.
the version that are in playstore beta is already RC3.. I believe it is the latest one..Is this new beta still not available on the play store (where i purchased HUR)?
Looking to test it out at some point.
Hi.I had the same issue of the app crashing. For me it seems that it was related to the gles 2.0 rendering. It stopped crashing when either changing to software decoder or changing the render surface from gles 2.0 to surface view in the graphic settings.
When you open HUR, go to settings and then graphics. It's an option in there.
Are you sure you're running the latest beta? I just got that option in the update yesterday I believe.
But the program crashes right after I start. In the new beta, I won't get into the setup. Are you sure you're running the latest beta? I just got that option in the update yesterday I believe.

I've just updated to the latest beta on the Play Store. I'm using regular wireless AA (not native) with the WiFi Launcher app. Every time I try to use the voice assistant (tapping on screen, key on steering wheel or "Ok Google", it crashes HUR. Not sure if anyone else experiences this or knows a solution.
I was having similar problems with phone creating hotspot. Then I tried HU creating hotspot which was more stable. But the wireless method that best worked for me was Wifi Direct. So, you may want to try these alternative methods (if you haven't already) which is explained in detail in the following article.Hello all - the support here is great. I've read a bunch of posts but can't figure out how to solve my issue.
PX6 head unit
Pixel 8 phone
WiFi launcher Version 3.7.5 (latest version doesn't work for me)
Phone creates hot spot.
My phone and HU connect without issues, but regularly disconnect. I'm sure I read at some point about turning off the WiFi on your phone, as it can connect to open networks and cause it to crash - so WiFi is always off before I start the car.
I suspect the head unit could be trying to connect to open networks and it trips up, because on my commute, when I'm sat at traffic lights outside a hotel with free WiFi it always crashes lol.
On the phone side, I have "Turn on Wi-Fi
automatically" and "Notify for public networks" both turned off. I cannot find an opting on the HU for these (older version android I suppose)
I hope this is an easy question for someone to answer and I'm just being an idiot
Thanks in advance.
You don't need to say, 'Hey Google' with AA. Rather you should be able to use either the mic button on your steeringwheel or the mic icon on the AA screen. Then simply say your instruction. If you have apps specified with AA on your phone, e.g. Spotify for music, then you don't even need to say play such and such on Spotify. Depending on the active navigation too, in my case Sygic, 'Navigate to...' without having to say also '...on Sygic', works also. Can You, guys give me some tips about making assistant work well on HUR installed on Chinese cars that does not support Android Auto out of the box.
It's on the headunit setting not HUR.Anyone know how to stop this changing teh volume while i drive, its driving me crazy, go fast volume jumps go slow or stop and i can hardly hear my music, it it just this app or does android auto do this too
There is also a speed sensitivity setting in HUR, Under Settings --> Audio, scroll down.Anyone know how to stop this changing teh volume while i drive, its driving me crazy, go fast volume jumps go slow or stop and i can hardly hear my music, it it just this app or does android auto do this too
Story of our life... I recommend to use with USB, the wireless is unstable, and you can't never know when it will work.Hi. I bought this from Play Store yesterday for an android T3L HU. Was able to make it work thru USB. But wireless seems to have a mind of its own. It suddenly started working after many attempts but stopped working suddenly as well. I tried everything, watched few YT videos but nothing seems to be working. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 with Android 14. Any idea how to make wireless work?
Isn't that exactly what you just joined up to do?
You didn't join to ask a question. You could have started with telling us what device and Android version you are trying to connect with/to, and perhaps someone could help you constructively.
