Not if you're using Magisk 17.1
I suggest you try installing the Xposed Framework Magisk module (last update Sept 20). And this is off topic for this thread.

You helped me a lot, through your response I went ahead and got what I needed.

If I want to update I start flashfire and choose " flash firmware package" .
I downloaded the firmware from updato.
It starts scanning the archive and when its done nothing happens.
I have a screenshot from the screen I get.
Anybody know what this is?

You've read the last 10 pages (at least) and understand that this is an unsupported app and doesn't work with Magisk > 14?

You will have to set your phone date back before March and open the app. Then buy pro.

hi, how long is the "blank screen period"? waited for 15mins after first normal ff routine, after that just boot and stays on logo...tried on backup and flashing still same... i used the beta before and its working now doesnt seem to work on old s4 kitkat .. pls enligten me

In my case it is just 1min and after that you will see a logo of FlashFire and process will start..
I tried in custom rom(cm13) to get back into stock rom of S4 mini 4.4.2

If you are rooted with Magisk 17+, maybe take a look at the process to take OTAs via Magisk on github docs

Turn on airplane mode might fis S4 reboots during backup

I don't know if this will help anyone, but I wanted to share this in case it does.

My S4 (i337) started to have wifi and Bluetooth problems today - trying to turn on either one allowed the slide switch to slide to the right (on), but it stays grey in color for 10-15 seconds, then slides back to the left (off) position without ever turning green. I also ONCE noticed a pop-up toast message appear saying something like "security does allow connection..", but it was too fast to take a screen shot and it never appeared again not matter how many times I tried turning on wifi.

So, what does this have to do with flash fire? I use flashfire to do "normal" backups and it works flawlessly on my S4 (I was able to do a restore and cloned a phone). But I have to use version 0.53 for it to work correctly on my 5.0.1 S4.

I then tried to do a backup today so I can restore it on another S4 to see if the problem follows the backup (software issue) or doesn't (hardware with first/current phone). But Flashfire kept rebooting the phone randomly during the [system] part of the backup, just like other S4 users have reported, but that I never experience before today. I tried this four times and it always rebooted during the backup.

On a hunch that this might be related to the wifi/Bluetooth radio, I set my phone into airplane mode (disables wifi and Bluetooth), and sure enough, the flashfire backup then completed successfully!

So, if you have an S4 and it keep rebooting when you try doing a backup, try installing version 0.53 and also turn on airplane mode and see if that works for you.

Android version 6.0.1
Currently on Alexndr v4.2 build(it is stock rom build with root and xposed)

I need to get fully stock experience(covering: resetting flash counter,knox counter to 0×0,twrp recovery to stock recovery)

Simply need to get fresh out of box experience. Am looking to sale it thats why i need to use flash fire. Will simply flashing stock firmware through flash fire meets my requirements?
