Android 4.3 port from i9100

I tried two ROMs from the i9100 threads (PA 3.96 and CM10.2) with the i777 hellraiser zip to fix key layout, UCMD8 modem and AJK 3.9 AOSP. Both attempts were unsuccessful in that I was stuck at bootanimation screens for about 15 minutes. Has anybody gotten in to work with a different method/setup?

The Ajk kernel is not for 4.3. Clearly states in the op of that thread it is used for Cm10.1,Aokp,pac-man etc. And I believe the hellraiser zip is for Jb 4.1.1. Someone correct me if I am wrong and there is a new version I did not see.
