I know this is probably really "old news" but I have a Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2-830. It' won't upgrade past Android 5. There is a software I want to purchase that runs Android 6. I asked Lenovo if there'll be an upgrade available anytime soon and they said they didn't know, to ask Android. That got me to this group. Any details?? Thanks!
Nope. Don't purchase it. There'll be no more official updates to your tablet.
But if there's a custom rom for your tablet that's running android 6 or later, maybe you can install that and then purchase your desired app.
