Im on 6.0 and want to root my Model Num is F700k is there any procedure to inject root or any other process??

Can anyone confirm if the K700L firmware has Korean system apps embedded in the recents menu. I'm on 6.0.1 - and on the recents menu there is another system app that sits above the clear all button - I have no idea what it does or says, but I can't get rid of it without root.. and don't want to root so I can use android pay etc..

Hi Guys..

after reading this thread, I installed LG Bridge. I have a F700L - and was using it fine on 6.0.1 in Australia.

LG Bridge detected a firmware update available - so I let it run its firmware update. (fyi, I had already run all the ota's I could, and was still on 6.0.1, but for some reason, LG bridge allowed further updating.

Anyway, the update has worked, im now on F700L 20e Android 7.0. The only problem, is that LTE just will not work.

I've exhausted all possible APN settings. This will be seomthing to do with the rom and baseband combo just not working properly in Australia.. so now I am f*c!#d - I have a 2g only phone.

I have spent hours scouring the web, trying to figure out how to actually flash a KDZ file directly.

All links to LG up I can find are dead.

I've tried download LG flash tool 2014, but after getting to the bit where it looks like its trying to write to USB, it throws an error in Korean.. and thats the end of that..

Appreciate if anyone has links or advice on how to manually flash a KDZ on a F700L - so I can downgrade.

If anyone has any potential advice on getting LTE to work please let me know - but im 99% sure thats not possible other than flashing another firmware.

guys i updated my f700k to 7.0 . i have weied isssue with battery , in attery graph ''cell standby is always on the top'' it eats more battery than the screen, is the same problem with you guys too? pls any fix? allready tryin forcing it into 2g mode. factory reset n all. ty
