Android 7.1.1 Images Posted for Every Device EXCEPT Nexus 6

Today is December 5th and as-promised, Google has posted the 7.1.1 images for all the devices. Well, all of them EXCEPT the Nexus 6.

Yea I mean I know it's still early, but the images for all the other devices went up more or less simultaneously. Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5, Nexus Player, Nexus 9... all of the promised devices... all went live within a couple minutes of each other.

Good news is it's still listed on the developer preview website for the December final release...

They gave us two years. The two years are over.

I wouldn't have faulted them if they just stopped at 7.0 for the N6, but they did promise the 7.1.1 update on their website so they should honor that.

They certainly can and I hope that they do... I'm just saying that they did give us the two years. The Nexus 9 two-year date was also October 2016 and they got the 7.1.1 update so why not us!

It's always possible that the December 7.0.0 are to fix some kind of OTA update bug (I assume that normal OTA zips will appear in due course), and then the 7.1.1 will follow later.

I just wish the website at least told you what the differences are between the multiple releases.

Nexus 9 is getting it's 7.1.1 which released same time as Nexus 6 . So we should get the 7.1.1 update .
But we didn't wanted to be the last one ?

There's no doubt about 6 receiving 7.1. We just have to wait little longer.

Different bootloaders.
nbd91s has bootloader-shamu-moto-apq8084-72.00.
nbd91u has bootloader-shamu-moto-apq8084-72.01.
