Android 7 "Nougat" OTA Happening!

It's been a while since I've logged on. The OTA has been available since the day after AT&T also A LOT of the s8 apps work like bixby samsung pass secure folder etc. I don't even want the s8+ no more just gonna get like 3 cases and a glass screen protector. How do u guys like android 7.0 on the s6. I'm also sad to say AOD will NEVER work on this phone uprooted butttttt our version is the edge clock and mine has been more efficient since the update keeping it on from 12pm to 12am is really the only time to take a quince glance. Whewww that was a mouth full hope everyone has a good day

What region are you in because I'm not getting any OTA or the Verizon software assistant program for my s6 edge+....... what am I missing here thanks in advanced for your timeIt's been a while since I've logged on. US but if the update isn't showing up I'm sure u can always download the official g928v 7.0 firmware and flash via install from sd card (Don't do anything if you're not sure don't wanna brick dat nice edge+)
Yeah you probably can but not right now cause I've already looked and nobody has the firmware yet to share
Wowwwww I know I'm not the only vzw s6 e+ owner wit official 7.0. Can any other users confirm an OTA and region thx in advanced
I love the update. I hate that I can't use free fonts anymore and the fonts you can use are a dollar each and not even much to choose from. Also (and this is a hardware thing) I have bad screen burn on this phone. I've never had any other phone get screen burn. On a white screen you see my keyboard, browser, and facebook have permanently marked my screen. Kinda sucks. Lol I digress. The update is awesome. Really don't understand why this is like the only galaxy phone we can't root lol

I've been trying to see if the update is available for days now. No dice! I tried both OTA & the Verizon software assistant...
I'm using a StraightTalk (AT&T) sim card in my S6 Edge-Plus and from what I've seen, OTA is only available if you're using a Verizon sim card. I get the below error (and it has never worked really):
Settings>System Update>Check for system updates:
Service Unavailable
Software update is temporarily unavailable. Try again later.
Can someone please post a link/tutorial to the Nougat firmware?

Well I'm using a Verizon simple card and it still not working for it must on the west coast and made it over here to the east coast I guessing

I'm not rooted but if there is a way I'm willing to help I did look in my internal storage and I didn't see an update file. Also I'm on da east coast
I managed to change my font with few apks for free I had to search really hard that's why I just settled with the few extras i found. Try search for official samsung font apks the few i have are below

Are you using a Verizon sim card in your phone? Did you get the update via OTA or the Software Updater program?

Yea vzw phone and SIM but I checked for my update cause I saw the leaked roadmap and I've been checking ever since. And one day I just so happen to be at my mom's house and I checked and it Said 7.0 nougat update available to download now and everything worked out great.
Good news now the update showed up on my device when plugged in up today downloading guys ????

Do everyone think they know someone who can get root for this bad boy of a phone
I feel like if we use a 1 click root method it would work to a certain extent cause we don't have a custom recovery for this specific device which means we could brick a phone easier without the proper custom recovery
U know root super su root apps we still wouldn't be able to flash zip files cause we don't have a custom recovery and I think our bootloaders are still locked.
Yea that's fine I just want to uninstall all the damn bloatware that vzw give us that we don't need
Ya it is cumbersome if i were u just disable them delete the updates for those apps and use the new smart manager. Also I managed to find the s8 live wallpaper if anyone is interested
