I applied to be a tester. Has anyone been in the beta program for Xiaomi in the past and can tell me if it involves a clean flash or an upgrade? i'd hate having to re-setup me device again.

If somebody is participating in the Android 9 beta program and has access to a car with Android Auto please check whether it finally works (with Android 8.1 it's still not working, see thread Bad screen casting on Android Auto).
