There is a similar thread on this board talking about the EVO VIEW variant of the Flyer and Honeycomb.

This includes audio from a Sprint/HTC webex where the HTC representative is taking answers from participants of the conference.

On the subject of Honeycomb the HTC rep continuing the line of coming soon. The HTC representative did however say that they are agressively working on this and are keen to get it to market. His understanding is that the aim is to have released it at latest by early autumn (early fall), although in the next breath he also says that he's heard internal rumours that it could be even as close as the end of the month.

I was wondering about the soft keys too. I actually suspect they will still be active and HTC might remove the "action bar" from Honeycomb - I certainly hope so, we cant afford to lose the screen space.

I just cant wait for the updated gmail app from honeycomb...

the 7" Huawei tablet that (may be?) the first 3.2 7" to market has no buttons except on screen that I can see in it's demo videos online. So from that I can infer that it's at least possible for 7" to run without the buttons...but it does seem somewhat silly to not be using them if they're there, right?

Personally I hope the buttons retain their functionality. I am definitely looking forward to honeycomb and really hope they make it backwards compatible for the apps that are out now.

Also I hope at the same time HTC turns S-Off on all of our devices. I dispise S-On.

Sent from my HTC EVO View. 7" of 4g fury!
