Which ROM are you using?
If your files are named as on your screenshots. .it will work.
In CM and Aosp roms the files are named as boot animation.zip and shutdown animation.zip

I'm using GPE kangakat v8 ROM .. I asked only works because I followed a tutorial explaining how to enable flash custom bootanimation and did not work ... ended up having to do the flash ROM again ..
The ROMs GPE are após based, but distributed by sammy, so I understand that the Sammy ROMs are own but without the bloat and visual modifications of ROMs tw ..
I will try to flash and come back for feedback

@dany__ what resolution is this now ? I see that it is same as what was leaked from Lg Gwatch but resolution was too small and look blurred I hope this one is Full HD ? but size look to small

Im on the i337 running GPE Kangkat V8 by ibastid and it worked! I just wiped cache and dalvic cache to be safe. then flashed zip and then loki doki and rebooted.Yes, it's in HD resolution
Just flashed this on my VZW S4 running the latest 4.4.4 GPE rom and the loop animation looks odd. It seems to flicker rather than completely fade (assuming that's what it's supposed to do?). Has anyone else experienced this? I'll try to take a video of it with my work phone in a little bit.

If you are referring to the post BadShah0786 referring to it "lagging", I thought he was talking about something else as I wouldn't use that word to describe my experience. I checked out the animation from a bootanimation.zip file and is suppose to completely fade out during the loop, but mine does not do that. It just kinda flickers on the left side of the screen.
What mine does (notice the initial fade, then the flicker on the left side as it's supposed to loop):

Not really a big issue, but thought I'd share.
It does the same thing on mine...looping at the end and it's not an issue.

Is that supposed to be flashable?
I tried it but flash was aborted for some reason. So something isn't right.
I also don't like that flickering at left side. It looks wery strange.

It is not flashable.
Of course..tha zip made by @cambunch is flashable. tested by me and it works.
Do you have at least a custom recovery?
Of course I have custom recovery. I flashed ton of stuff AMD that was first one that get canceled from flashing. That's why I ask.

It worked great for me with Philz recovery.
Unzip the files and push them manually to system/media using root explorer or something similar.
Set permissions to rw--r--r and reboot.
