there is a serious bug in the notifications. The notifictaions appears until you dront drop down the shortcuts on the top bar, and if you've pulled down the notifictaion bar to see the shortcuts, then the notifications stop showing

Wait for the patch,but I think you need to contact the porter personally as this ROM is old and the porters abandoned this ROM.
