To roll back from the M's Google app replace the base.apk at /data/apps/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox-1/ with the playstore version.

All apps working fine on HTC One M9 with Android 5.0.2 and installed the apps as normal app.

I've manually extracted the Camera + libs, Play Services + libs, and Google App + libs from the Nexus 5 M image, flashed them as system apps, and they all work perfectly except OK Google on my Nexus 5 running 5.1.1.

The Launcher, bootanimation, ringtones are identical, byte for byte, since 5.0. Play Music doesn't have an updated version in M. The Google App is what changed the look of the Google Launcher. And, Android for Work is just the Assistant stub, not the main app.

No, this feature is part of Android M, you will need Android M to use it.

Read at of thread under Other informations. I don't think so, it will work on kit Kat, but I don't think jelly bean will work, but why not give it a try?

There you find all Apps (including system Apps like CellBroadcats, Launcher2, etc). I havent tested yet with them. If you do so, please give me some feedback what worked etc

Installed the launcher on my Moto X Gen 1 on 4.4.4 KitKat. Running just as smooth as my Moto X PE.
