Yep, just flashed using flash fire on vs986 and worked perfect.

You could also place it easily using Root Explorer under /System//media folder. Secondly, the copy.com links doesn't work. Can you upload it some other place?

No, that isn't a flashable zip. Just push to system/media
Set permissions to 0644
Reboot.

I did manage to make an easy .sh file to move everything and chmod it all for you, then I ziped it and it is basically a flashable bootanimation, enjoy!
