If I was to flash the carrier rom, but using home-csc to preserve my data, should I expect to get carrier bloat and other random stuff?

Waiting for the oxm variant is a pain. :D

Hey all.

I acquired a Note10+ yesterday from 4gadgets. Item sold as sim free.

I've realised that the device does have Vodafone bloat on it (there's No Vodafone branding on the phone itself), and I have tried my Three SIM - which does work. Upon more research my model is SM-N976B which I believe it the unlocked version?

Since turning the phone on yesterday, it received 3 OTA updates, latest update is N976BOVF3BTC1 - I've cross referenced this the Sammobile, and it's the Vodafone FM. Also just to query the SM-N976B/M - not sure what the /M relates too?

My question is am I able to flash just the standard UK firmware to it, as I don't require any Vodafone Bloat

Hello,
I have Sm-976B on Vodafone UK, it is sim free. I am tired of waiting for updates from Vodafone.
Can I update to stock firmware files using odin?
latest files are N976BXXU3CTC9/N976BOXM3CTC7/N976BXXU3CTC7.
Is it safe to update all files i.e BL, AP, CP and CSC files ?
please help i am so confused.
Thanks in Advance

Yes, CTC9 for BTU is UI 2.1

Sent from my SM-N976B using Tapatalk
I'm so clueless with this as I've never flashed firmware through Odin. Could you point me to the firmware please? I downloaded the latest version I could find with Samfirm but want to make sure it's correct.

No worries, I've sorted it. Running UI 2.1 without any problems.
