Is ter any official information abt this update frm moto ?
Hey can you please tell me how many soak ota did you get?Oreo update for moto G5S Plus is currently in soak testing period. I'm one of the tester. It should be available to you all pretty soon. Can't provide any ETA.
Given that our phones were already on nougat, the testers have only received one soak ota until now. The version of the soak is OPS28.49-2. It's very stable so I don't think Motorola is going to release another ota for soak testers.Hey can you please tell me how many soak ota did you get?
Well the purpose of soak test is to check whether the new software is capable of running properly on the device or not. Its majorly for checking if there's an issue with performance, battery, display etc. Display tweaks (like the one you asked for) are considered much minor things and will not be addressed in the soak testing. But still we can hope that they will implement those display tweaks when they release Oreo as a regular update. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:Maybe a minor detail, but they haven't updated the battery image from the battery settings to be rounded like 8.1, it looks like squared 8.0.. why lenovo?
Maybe from the last week of July, because that's when they would have received all the feedback they require from the soak tests.Oreo update maybe rolling in July, agoust
yeah i know about that but they modified it on purpose to stay squared since 8.1 already has it rounded, i know it may sound stupid but if they give us an update bring all the visuals too.. hooe it gets adressedGiven that our phones were already on nougat, the testers have only received one soak ota until now. As a matter of interest, are you noticing much (or any) difference in battery life on this "test" version ?Oreo update for moto G5S Plus is currently in soak testing period. I'm one of the tester. It should be available to you all pretty soon. Can't provide any ETA.
Do you have screenshots of the actual build after flashing this from the soak testers? The OPS28 build number suggests that the update is still 8.1 (8.0 updates would be OPS27).What? Soak testers receibed this
Its remain same....8.1.0What? Soak testers receibed this
Do you have screenshots of this please? I'm confused as in your other post you mention that the update is downgrading https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77055924&postcount=17 and here you mention the build's staying the same...Its remain same....8.1.0
