Android Pay on the Droid DNA

Question: Has anyone been able to get Android Pay working on the Droid DNA? If so, what ROM/Kernel are you running? Did you require a workaround?


Device: Rooted, Unlocked Droid DNA running NuSenSeveN | Sense 7.0 | v1.00 with the NuK3rn3l dlx Sense_Lollipop_v3.00 kernel by santod.

Problem: My Google Wallet app was upgraded to Android Pay today and I cannot add any credit cards.

When attempting to finalize the app setup I receive this message:

Android Pay cannot be used. Google is unable to verify that your device or the software running on it is Android compatible.

Background:

• Prior to this upgrade I was able to use Google Wallet and was able to make tap and pay NFC payments.
• Prior to posting this question I searched for solutions and attempted to uncheck "Enable Superuser" in SuperSU to no avail.

WORKING:

Rooted/Unlocked.

Debloated Stock 4.4 ROM: [4.4.2] Stock 4.09.605.5 | Rooted | Sense 5.5

Had to uncheck "Enable Superuser" in SuperSU to add my cards and setup Android Pay.
