Android Pie is there for Taiwanese versions!!

Message to notice that Android Pie is finally rolling out for Taiwanese versions of HTC U11+.

Version received is 2.15.709.1! Will test this morning!

Still downloading, can't tell right now! The screenshot was on 8.0 showing notification to upgrade to 9.0!

OK! As tiny review : visual adentity as been changed in notification and quick access area (more colorful in settings menu), I've got the impression that the system is globally more responsive, dark mode has been added. Performances are the same, about 204000pts in Antutu before and after update! Let's see further to test a little bit more battery life!

Is bluetooth working for you?

For me, it deleted all my paired devices and it doesn't find any of them anymore.

Just tested right now! It deleted effectivelly all my other paired devices but I can pair them again without any issue!

Okay, I found out whats going on.

Apparently, in Pie, the previously connected devices aren't shown in the bluetooth menu but in "device connection". You have to pair new devices there and also my old devices refuse to autoconnect. But it works now.

Is the soft navbar still being forced? Any option to enable gestures?

Yes, I'm in Belgium with tw version and I could download the update. If you have a tw version in US, I suppose your phone is unlocked. Just try to search for updates manually in the settings, you should be able to download and install right now!

You can try change CID and version in sdf1 and sde1
