Try this:
Update all apps from Google via PlayStore, then go to Settings - Apps and click on app who want to disable and first go to Force Close than go to Storage menu on that app and click Clear cache and data, then go back and click Disable BUT when system ask about Do you want to restore to Factory version CLICK NO!
Thats all, app will be disabled up to date, reboot phone.

I got a Agust security patch 9.1.0.368 N. Macedonia.Why do I still get updates when 2 years have passed?Well done to Huawei.
well we didn't get 2 years of regular updates, more like once every few months. good to see that they didn't drop support yet, but the last update for sure was a little weird for (its main new feature was something I had before too which is odd)
