Sure. Sony phones do usually get 2 years of support. We've still got time until summer 2019
Yes we will have Android our for the XZ Premium it's should be updated this month
Did you even read the official blog post by Sony? They said that the devices will start to get Pie from November. It won't get it this month.

Not only that, but there's literally a notification in the Support app for the next planned Android version being Pie.

Exactly there. Maybe it shows when you update the Support app. Either that, or it's region related.

It's as up-to-date as Software Update is allowing. Perhaps North America is low on the update priority list
It's probably that. I'm on Custom German FW, I noticed they usually get the updates amongs the first.

i got Pie this morning in the USA.
