Doesn't hurt. I do it once a year just to get a fresh start. Not doing it with my Pixel 2 XL since I plan on getting the Pixel 4 XL.Is it a good idea to factory reset and restore?

Nope - identical. Can anyone tell me if there is a new radio with the official 10 release on the Pixel 2XL? Specifically, not the same radio that was packaged with q beta 5 or 6. Had network connectivity issues on both betas, hoping for an updated radio in the final. Thanks in advance.
Yup. Time consuming for sure. That's exactly what I ended up doing, took a while but it was worth it!
^^^^ - Pretty much every year when the final build comes out I do a clean install. Of course, this go around, I also clean installed on ẞeta 2 (the update build), and again on ẞeta 5. But I distrust OTA upgrades for a new System OS upgrade - always have, always will. I prefer the clean flashing of something major like that. And yet, I did exactly that lol.Doesn't hurt. Recent menu > clear all > recent menu = apps are still there
Recent menu is not smooth anymore . Network connectivity issue is still there. Sone times my mobile start showing no network for few seconds.
Haha.. Nope.. Factory reset did it right. However phone sent in for repair. USB-C port stopped working in one direction..Uh, revert to build .19 then?
All you need to do is deny the Phone and Call log permissions for the Verizon app.Has anyone else have an issue making a call...there seems to be a big delay between when I try to make a call to when the phone makes the call... possibly 10 seconds. I have made calls from all my normal locations with the same result. I have cleared cache and restarted the phone without any changes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I always read all the threads and try to stay current but haven't noticed any one else having this issue.
I'm not in the US and obviously not on Verizon, but this is very useful info. :good:All you need to do is deny the Phone and Call log permissions for the Verizon app.
For me it's performing well! The smoothness increased after android 10. It definitely feels good to use now! I think i experience occasional stutters but those are probably app based issues nothing serious.I'm thinking of buying a 2xl (used). How's the performance on Android 10? Are scrolling and animations smooth? Any stutter our micro lag? I'll appreciate an objective answer. Thanks!
I'll have one to put up for sale in October when I get the 4 XL if you want to wait. LOLI'm thinking of buying a 2xl (used). How's the performance on Android 10? Are scrolling and animations smooth? Any stutter our micro lag? I'll appreciate an objective answer. Thanks!
