Otherwise you could try an Xposed module with Xposed framework to theme/tweak your status bar.

Maybe all Elegancia themes for 3.33 base will work, try and post your results for others.
Otherwise try out Elegancia Blitz ROM and their themes if you like Android 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6
Maybe there are other themes out there, take a deep breath and blow the dust of that search bar up there

hinxnz, tried it but all i get is a popup htc sense has stopped working at main screen, so i had to use my nandroid backup

I haven't been on that ROM for such a long time so I can't help much but if you want to try it again, after flashing it, boot up and go into Settings - Apps - All and wipe data for the sense launcher, hopefully that works.

you dont have enough time to get into settings, with the popup, it's lke it lock you out
i could only just get it to shut down with the power button

I know exactly what you mean, you could try wipe data for sense beforehand and not pressing the home key before powering off
If you have a tweaks app installed, it could be interfering with theme.
Here's a couple more themes, here(edit: causes bootloop) and here but not sure if they are for the 3.33 base.
Other options are either to change ROM's if this theme collection here doesn't work for you too OR if you want to stay on ARHD, flash the latest 3.32 based version.
