Android SMS bug in MiniCM7.

Everytime I send a text message, there will be a message saying the state of threads and recepients is inconsistent and there will be a link to report the bug. Upon pressing the link the messaging app will force close. Any ideas on how to fix this and remove the message everytime I try to send a text? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

This is the first time I encountered this error. I suggest you to use 3rd party messaging apps like Go Sms, Handcent etc

Or you could go to:

Settings > Applications > Messaging App > Clear Data

Unfortunately, that message is still there. Although it goes away once the message has been sent, it's kinda annoying to me. But anyway thanks for trying to help though

Are you trying to send to more than one recipient? Why do their names not appear in the messaging app..

I think you need to give more information before we can REALLY help..

The screenshot I provided was me sending a message to myself only. In my contacts list, my number is saved and my real name is with my phone number. I cropped this photo so as to protect my mobile phone number.

Ok I understand..

What I'd do, if it was mine, would be to reboot into CWM recovery, wipe cache & dalvik cache.. Don't full wipe.

Reboot and try messaging yourself again..

If that doesn't work then your rom has been corrupted somehow.. Could be a virus..

Hmmm still no luck. Do you recommend me doing a fresh installation of the ROM again?

Yeah I would.. If something so fundamental as messaging in your install is broken, god only knows what other trouble lies in store with it..

I suggest GingerZaraki with Alfs-8a-CM7

You can't go wrong with that combo on these phones..
