Hi guys, i have problem with installing it (And also with version 8 i found). The problem is i installed this on my old laptop - live cd works but there is problem with login so i wanted to install and wiele through twrp etc - but when i install it looks like grub doesnt install. I created new partition in windows and use it for this but after reboot it boots to windows normally without grub menu. Then i used partition with windows, formated surfing installation and still the same problem. Do you knows what is the cause?

Nvm i was able to get it running with a wireless Ethernet cable adapter, now my main problem is the sound being broken, is there any fix for that? I tried the one that kamazrok provided and it did nothing. my computer is a Dell Optiplex with a Nvidia graphics card 730, and a Intel i5

And at startup (without installation), Bliss OS works, right? You need to disable Boot Secure via Bios. This option may prevent installation of other operating systems (except Windows). Also people had the problem on AMD Ryzen. ATV9 build on kernel 5.10 helped them (even Wifi 5 started working). For 2023, it's better to choose Prime or Bliss OS for gaming and watching videos.
Try installing ATV9 with kernel 5.10. There is also Prime OS (on Android 7) from 2022. If you have wifi from Realtek, you need to download Bliss OS 15.8.5 (on Android 12). Bliss and Prime are rooted out of the box.

Atv 9 black screen tried nomode and force vesa no luck
atv 7 is workin but with too many lag And home screen is too buggy
atv 8 is fine with no lag and no home screen bug only issue im facing is wifi not working

Fix Netflix: This is a standard Netflix Tablet APK and I put this in to fix a problem that you may have with Netflix ATV. If you can’t open the app (the app opens but it immediately closes without displaying anything) you’ll need to uninstall Netflix ATV, install the fix APK first, see if it boots then install the other Netflix ATV APK. It should work and the ATV Version should now boot (you can uninstall the fix). I don’t know why but I discovered this when I was trying to reinstall everything to immediately see if there was some bugs.
Fix Home: This one is simple. If your Home starts freaking out, it maybe updated and its lethal and you’ll need to reinstall the whole OS. I hope that you are here not for your home that’s freaking out and you come from the guide. Just go on the play store and disable automatic updates from the setting icon.
Known Bugs:
Chromecast built-in doesn't work.
Home may break if updated (See Fix Home).
USB Debugging doesn’t work (wireless adb).

Guide:
1. Flash the ISO File with Rufus or BalenaEtcher on a USB(4GB Min.).
2. When its done take the USB and put it on the PC.
3. When it boots, press ESC to display your Boot Selector.
4. Select your USB
5. When it displays a blue screen go on Installation, or if you want to see if your PC works with this OS, go select Android TV (First Option).
6. Select your partition / hdd that you want to install the OS in. (DISCLAIMER!! Go see how to select the right partition or your currently installed OS will may corrupt, or not boot.).
7. IMPORTANT! Select to ext4 for file system, or it will not boot / work!
8. Yes to install EFI GRUB2.
9. Reboot.
10. Press again ESC Untill it shows up the Boot selection and select Android TV.
11. Select the first option if you are from desktop, or if you are from notebook and you want to display the OS on an VGA/HDMI screen just select the Android TV (Laptop Mode) and close your laptop screen. In a few seconds it should appear the terminal in your external screen.
12. Do the standard Android TV Setup and it should now bring you to the Home of your Android TV. YOU DID IT!
13. IMPORTANT!!! Go see the Fix for Netflix and the Home Fix.
14. If video reproduction is a little bit slow, go on settings, device preferences, display, 3d , And select force hardware acceleration.

Catch build AVT9 (for HD+ and more lower resolution)2I managed to get around the login problem as follows (you need to have the adb tools installed on your pc and know how to use the prompt. Google for that if you don't know):
- First, start Android TV in "No Setup Wizard" mode in "Advanced options" in grub menu;
- When the system starts, go to Settings > Device Preferences > System > Local Network services, check the "Allow ADB service" checkbox and enable the "Current state of service";
- Download the Google Chrome apk in version X86_X64;
- With adb installed on your pc, type
adb connect ANDROIDTV_IP, you should get something likeconnected to ANDROIDTV_IP:5555, if it doesn't appear check the ip entered (no need to type the port); - Type
adb install -r apk_name.apk(if it is in a different folder: C:\..\..\Documents\chrome.apk), and wait for the installation (it takes a while); - When you get the message "Success", on Android TV go to "Settings > Apps > See all apps", and you will see Android System WebView disabled. Activate it and Chrome will appear in the list of apps;
- Go to Chrome, open it, continue until the login screen appears;
- Log in and be happy!!!;
