I'm just trying to get into the controls to see if anything if off with it. & I like complete control of all my devices. Also I have called my provider. Did the troubleshooting. And nothing seems to work. Samsung is not any help either. Soooooo, I'm trying everything or I'm end up using my $300 extra credit, my military discount & trade in credit for another pair, but that's just resort
Have you checked your apn and that has all the correct info? I've had that be the reason on many a Samsung phone especially unlocked bc sometimes the info doesn't update correctly or at all. It's under settings, network connections, mobile network and you should be able to change the parts that need changing. I'd check for correct info from carrier and check if it's the same if you have not already.

I did that with my service provider. They have me what they had I put it in if worked & then about a week later the problem started again. When I got the phone I called them to let them put it on the network & for 3 days no problems. Then we had a huge Thunder ⛈️ storm for 3 days(I love in Louisiana).

Everyone in the house lost service for a few moments, but we all gained it back, but my phone started doing the going into roaming randomly. Then WiFi or data started acting bajigitty. I called them they gave me the APN & it worked... Then it started again. I don't know what to do.

I reset but the network & the phone & still it happens. & is getting annoying. Bcus is interfering with my Pokemon playing

I'm considering buying a refurbished S10e or S10+ (unlocked US Snapdragon) to unlock. Is there a way to know if the device is compatible without having it on hand? I don't have the option to message the seller.

Model numbers (copied from seller listings, may have inaccuracies):
SM-G970UZBV, SM-G970UZWV, SM-G970UZWAXAA for S10e, and SM-G975UZIAXAA, G975UZKAXAA for S10+.

It's the bootloader level that determines unlockability, not model number. Post #2 of this thread tells you what's unlockable.

Without messaging the seller, no, there's no way to know.

Hey guys... I have a question.

I live in Canada. Recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5G from an online source. When I received the phone, learned it was an SM-N986U (AT&T) US model. That doesn't bother me. It came with Android 11, Android security patch from September 1, 2021, and bootloader / baseband N986USQS2DUH3 dated Sept 15, 2021. I have flashed the Canadian W version firmware N986WVLS2DUH3 released Sept 7, 2021. Phone boots and all seems well.
I would like root at some point (this is a V2 bootloader and is not possible to unlock right now), but I would also like Android 12. Knowing that at some time in the future the bootloader "might" be unlockable, would flashing the N986WVLS2FVG5 firmware dated Aug 9, 2022 not be in my favor even thou it is a V2 also ?? Might upgrading to this new firmware hinder me in the future for acquiring root ??

Thoughts ??

Thanks

Nope because if a method is released that only works on Android 11, you can always downgrade back to an Android 11 bootloader 2 build. What you want to avoid at all costs is updating to a bootloader 3 build, once they're released

I wish someone out there had 100% compatible sm-g965u kernels for stock Android 10 with 3ghz overlooking on the cpu & 800mhz on the gpu. I want my s9+ to be as fast as possible. By the way afaneh92 is real nice to chat with. I'm getting my unlock done now. I don't wish to change the stock rom, just want a wicked kernel for stock rom sm-g965u s9+.

Thanks

I have a note 20 (N981U) and the end of my build number is usqs2fvg6. Any way to root? If not, is there any way to compete a deep scan to recover deleted data if the data is not overwritten? Thanks in advance!

My s21 is on Android version 11 One UI 3.1. I know It's not currently supported but is it likely that it will be supported sometime soon? I was looking at the beta for version 13 and it looks very appealing... Not sure if I should bother waiting?

S21 released with oneui 3.1 and v1 bootloader supported, read carefully or post your software info.
