Return it or wait for exploit or buy international version for oem unlock. Can't guarantee it'll work on US carriers without trying

US devices has no oem unlock toggle, s21 can be unlocked on v1 bootloader. Post your software info

I am considering buying an S20 Ultra (SM-G988W) that is for sale here in Canada. But I want to make sure that it could be unlocked. Is there anything you need to get from the phone to confirm? How can I confirm that it does not have the new March 2021 bootloader? If it does, does that mean it can no longer be unlocked?

I am in a similar situation, I bought a s20 plus and my build number is G986U1UES3HWB5. I am familiar with Odin and know how to flash firmwares.
My question is pertaining to my model, is it possible to downgrade all the way back to the required bootloader v1 via flashing previous android versions.
I was reading from some other forum that it is possible to downgrade, but I'm unsure how far you can go.

Hi I was wondering if u would be able to do my galaxy s10e (sm-g970u).. and is there a fee to do what u gotta do so I can unlock my bootloader. Cause I'm so been trying to get another rooted phone so I can continue my studys/learning of all there is to kali Linux offensive security and PC/web security or programming. Rooted phones peak my interest because there is so little u can't do with a rooted phone and this galaxy s10e sm-g970u with a locked bootloader is pretty much headed in the trash unless we can do something about it and unlock it...
What do u think can u help me please. I don't have much for money so I hope there is no fee. Please and thank you mister hacker man sir.
