I'm not having issues with the Andromeda apps, it is pretty random. Winamp, soundhound, Angry birds, Stupid Zombies, Swiftkey X. Reinstalling has fixed some of them, but I'd prefer to avoid having to do it to all of them. Especially when I get the storage error trying to reinstall them. When you say wipe, how far do you mean? Wipe apps with titanium, or odin 1-click and reflash? Some of the apps on Andromeda3 are different versions then the ones you used to have. Do not restore all apps or system apps. Try a wipe, then restore "missing apps + data"
when you click on PDA, you need to point it to the TAR file....not the zImageOK i've spent hours trying to do this. I have rooted, i can get my phone into download mode. The next step is to use Odin3 1.7 (which i have) and click the PDA button and the select the Ursa Minor flash. I cannot find any ursa minor files when i click the PDA button. What am I doing wrong?
I have downloaded Ursa Minor from the team komin github, i also downloaded the ursa minor.tar.gz from the github. I extracted the files and all that. Please help me i'm sure it's something easy.
when you extracted the file....did it extract a .tar file out of the .gz??It doesn't find the TAR file. All I see is a .TAR.GZ and Odin doesn't show that one when clicking the PDA tab.
Thanks for the prompt reply too by the way.
well that would probably be my problem. there wasn't an option to extract anything after i downloaded it.when you extracted the file....did it extract a .tar file out of the .gz??
Sadly No I did not know what a .gz is.do you know what a .gz or gzip file is?
do you have 7zip installed?
dude, just follow the instructions here... there's a video http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1005841well that would probably be my problem. there wasn't an option to extract anything after i downloaded it.
Reinstall Samsung drivers or use a new usb cableThanks Adam i've watched your video several times. Now i get an error popup that says "Odin3 Communicator Has Stopped Working" and it closes. I've retried it several times even switched USB ports on my laptop. It happens as soon as Odin does file analysis. I'm apparently not very good at this.

If you were to flash a kernel then reflash the Rom, you would wind up with the old kernel, because the Rom flash includes the old kernel. Just flash the new kernel in cwm, and that's it.I was able to flash without any issues due to the great thread at the beginning. I have done roms before, but this was my first android. That aside...
Ursa Minor 2 - If I install this using CWM (right?), will I have to reinstall Andromeda? My sound on the headset, an old Apple headphone/mic, is horrible in my truck. Maybe cause it's a loud diesel?
Does Andromeda support a screen capture by default/how to use it and if not, what should I get?
Kudos to Team Komin, this ROM is very sweet!
I keep seeing ADB, but I have not run across anything explaining this program or feature and how to use it.
drag n dropI just flashed this rom. I had been running another for a while and just wanted a change. So far this is a fast stable rom. my question...is there a way to change the home apps(apps on the bottom of the screen) with out changing to a different launcher?
