^^ I've just tested that with a fresh flash. I cannot find the peak airtimes options in there. It is also incompatible with our current email app which means it would mess up titanium backups. I cannot include that apk.
Better Keyboard 8 force close
Of all the ROMs I have tried, I think this is probably my favorite.
One major problem for me though, Better Keyboard 8 will continously force close. Once I activate the keyboard, about every 5 seconds the phone will vibrate, and I get a FC message regardless of what screen I am in.
Better keyboard 7 works just fine.
Would love to have a work arround for this so I could use this ROM.

Nice ROM
I found Andromeda 2.1 by just hunting around and took a chance. It's been really fast and stable, and I love the theming and HPUPA performance. Nice work guys!
I tried the 2.1->2.2 update zip, but "About Phone" still shows Andromeda 2.1. Anyone else having this problem?

ok I'm having a situation here. I have andromeda 1.1 right now flashed on my cap but the battery is pretty bad it shows display at 99% even though my display and everything is on low and causes my battery to drain out quickly.. I just deleted the auto task manager as well because i heard it does more harm to battery now in these roms .. but the question is how do i go to 1.2 now?
i previously had 1.0 and i ran the updated to go to 1.2 (had a problem in the middle and phone went into infinite loop but i was able to go back into recovery and updated to 1.2 without using odin or anything..
Now the only 1.2 i see says that its full wipe? does that mean now i have to ru ODIN and go thought the whole process again or can i just drop the zip file and hit the recovery ??

ODIN is a completely useless step that is only needed when something goes terribly wrong. you never have to use ODIN to switch roms, unless you messed with the partitioning and the lagfixes....if you just installed a rom and left it the way it is in regards to the lagfixes, odin is not necessary. just flash the update if you dont want it to wipeok I'm having a situation here. THank you ..i just flashed to 1.2 from the thread but my phone still says that it is on 1.1 ? thats weird...and it still deleted eeerything from my phone..
Thank you for your help, so basically aslong as i stay on andromeda i won't have to use ODIN right...if i flash a different rom such as Phoenix or somthing then it will be necessary for ODIN due to the change in lagfixes etc??
the 1.2 update build.prop was not updated to reflect the new version. known issue, and it hurts nothing
as far as using ODIN, i have only ever had to use it when i have screwed something up royally....i havent used it to switch roms in months

3. 1.2 - it will show as 1.1 in your about phone section but its 1.2
I haven't tested this, but one of the settings in the music player is "Unpause on connect."
Check if that is selected...
I'm running Andromeda 1.2 again after trying some of the other ROMs out there.
I was on the http://andromedarom.weebly.com/ site and noticed the Extensions section where I found the Boot Animations. I'm currently using the "Android Drawing" one. I am curious - It looks like the .zip file has some folders along with the individual screenshots that make up the animation. The last/final pic is in it's own folder.
I'm just thinking that it'd be cool if I could make the last screen say something like Welcome To above the graphic... I tried to make changes to the last file (keeping the file name and location the same in the .zip) - I copied it and the animation stopped right before the last screenshot PNG file.
I tried it a second time and same thing - It skips right over it. Is this something I'm doing wrong or am I missing something here?
[edit] Fixed now - Apparently when I rezipped the file it tried to compress the modified picture.

jk4 modem on andromeda 1.2?
Hello, i'm currently flashed andromeda 1.2 w/ursa-minor #8 and stock znkp1 modem. Everything seems to be working very well however, in my area (North Carolina), znkp1 modem does not seems to be working very well. Can I flash ugjk4 modem???(previously very successful) if not, what other modems i can try?

yeah. just pop in the jk4 modem. no problem. any of the popular i9000 modems should work
