I am getting unsuccessful installation.
Searched the forum and found this answer

But it cant apply to us since we CANT UNMOUNT SD CARD since Android is on it.

So what are you guys doing to make it work?

you still can un mount your card with android running.

When Android boots up, it puts Android into the RAM rather than run off the flash card. Unmount the SD card after boot, install the app, then re-mount it. Then all is fine!

this has been discussed many times, in relation to angry birds and the countless other apps thats wont install with the sd card mounted. go into settings, the storage, oh look yoiu can unmount yoiur sdcard

This is why I asked

USB Mass Storage mode CANNOT work - the phone runs Android off of the SD, hence the SD needs to be mounted for Android to work. Just in WinMo when the SD is unmounted from WinMo when you plug it in, the exact same thing would happen in Android - and then Android wouldn't be able to function... make sense?

You can use ADB with USB, but that is it. It's useful for debugging...

Arrghhhh is a standup guy and was very nice to answer most of my questions in the TP2 section. I didn't know the rules don't apply to the HD2 as well.

just install kernel 8.2 ( put sd card in pc , copy zimage and folder called root in to your android folder )

Try changing the Android ROM,,,, I'm using the Mdeejay_FroYo_Sense_v._2.3_Clean its the best one so far.... no prblm no lagging,,, its working great!!
