OK so I been reading through xda for years now just never really posted. I bought the anker2x battery pack and charger from amazon. First let me say this, ics plus this battery and the stock ics kernel equals amazing battery life with heavy use. Once you understand everything in ics & untick some options in (developer options)needed to save battery you'll see your phones true battery life. I can't think of every option I unticked to get this battery life it wasn't that many. One thing I've noticed personally is Google apps (gapps) uses a sh!t ton of battery. So I just re-flashed build 2 without gapps as build 2 gives me the most battery life and is really stable with my settings. One thing I miss about gapps is the market everything else I can get around. I've went to the Google play market on browser then just added a bookmark to it to the homescreen. The thing is when I try to download a app that way instead of the actual app none of the apps get downloaded to my phone. It says they will be on my device shortly but they never get pushed to the phone. As of right now I can get apps from simply looking up .apks but I wish there was a fix one of you guys may know how. I know that the inverted Google apps (black) takes advantage of the oled screen and saves battery. Ive managed to get (1 day 2 hrs) of battery life with this battery and my settings dont forget to use the green battery calibration app to calibrate your battery read directions within app helps the anker2x get to its full potential. I didn't even undervolt it. Here's screenshots for proof I've spent a good year on a battery fix and I finally figured it out. If your intrestead in my settings I will post them I'm just happy my phone last a day and 2 hours with heavy use, i always use the browser!! & i bookmarked youtube to homescreen and use youtube that way as doing this still gives you the official youtube icon. The app i use for battery is (easy battery saver) and i use super mode with set DNS :D Hope ths helps any questions just ask!! Cheers good day.
