No, you're going to have to start fresh, or make backups of your appdata in remix and transfer it onto something else for safekeeping then install Bliss. Other than not having the UI that Remix and Phoenix have, it's actually much better. It's built on the x86 source with their own updates and such given that it's 7.1.1-7.2, a more up-to-date kernel, I believe they offer both rooted/unrooted versions, and a few other things. Like I said, the only thing missing is the UI system, and to me, that would make them better than any other choices out there in terms of a PC-compatible Android OS.
For me Remix OS the latest outdated version is still working pretty good. App compatibility is very high. I do hate the Remix OS Desktop like interface though. It messes up some apps and they don't display fine in full screen because of the taskbar, I have managed to hide the task bar but it cannot be disabled/removed completely. However Remix OS seems to have better compatibility than the normal Android x86 port with no taskbar.

One other thing I hate about Remix OS and it just might be x86 port related is the banding that I get on videos on certain apps. Even YouTube gets a lot of color banding like if it's running in 16-bit color and not 32-bit. My Nvidia Shield Android TV Box does not have this horrible effect. I just don't get why they can't fix this. I'll give Bliss a try, maybe it doesn't suffer from this. For those that don't know what I'm talking about here are a couple of screenshots.

Guys, what about Remix OS Singularity, a Samsung's Dex style-like solution? As they will not be developing it anymore, are there alternatives besides the expensive and closed Dex? Don't wanna use Windows phone with Continuum... I really wish to use my Android smartphone as my desktop connected to an external display for simple tasks. Singularity was the best solution I've found, but now it's gone... :crying:

@rafabrasil85 I'm trying to convince Computer Launcher dev to enable freeform windows for Nougat+ Android smartphones and tablets. He won't listen though :/
https://github.com/farmerbb/Taskbar/issues/39
Yeah, I have also asked developers from Leena Desktop to implement this freeform feature inside their app. For now I have to configure smaller screen and font sizes in Nougat settings and open at same time Taskbar app and Leena Desktop (I have not tested Computer Launcher yet), then cast it to big screen or use it with USB cable and AirDroid on my PC. Overall it is an OK experience, but could be much more easy to enable freeform inside those launchers. Also, Taskbar buttons and icons do not match well with smaller UI in Leena. Hope this smartphone-desktop scenario change soon with more developers and hardware companies getting involved. Maybe Android itself has a Dex-like feature in future releases?

I don't know about future Android releases, but I'm just 100% sure that a full desktop UI in native Android is just a matter of time. I bet it's coming in 2019 at worst, but I suspect it as experimental feature in Android P just like freeform windows are experimental in Nougat.

Did you see the new Huwaei Mate 10 PC Mode? Hope more and more OEMs brings this scene to the table.

OPENTHOS is another one that I have seen mentioned. Can't see a way to download from where they have it posted though.
