I don't understand why the current trend with some devs & members is to post download links forcing you to install the 'unfriendly' Telegram app & join a group when there is already a section & thread on xda for that!
If Telegram is rewarding them with some money, then I have absolutely no problem with that as these guys are giving us, leechers, free roms, softwares, etc ;)
Am I missing something or what?
I find it extremely inconvenient.

Those kinds of posts are supposed to be reported. It's against the rules to post links that require a user to install software or register an account to receive the actual download.

The Moderators here will handle that if you report the posts. View the forum in a browser then look around the border of each post and you'll see a yellow/orange triangle, click that and make a report. This is how you report posts on XDA.

I know, but that's where the problem lies. The devs doing this are excellent & make one of the most stable roms & kernels. It'll harm the community if they are reported! And I guess this can demotivate them from building further roms which we don't want.

They have to understand that they don't make the rules around here. Report those kinds of posts, it's against the rules. PERIOD. End of discussion.

The Moderator that handles the report will set them straight.
