annoying wallpaper ?

Is there anyway to set a HD wallpaper to were it fits to screen? I hate having to trim photos just so when you pan left and right its missing half the photo. i wish there was a way to lock it full screen. Any1 else find this annoying?

Launcher Pro can lock the wallpaper in place, but of course, you need to then use Launcher Pro.
