Yes, we all know that DXO manages to be the only source that gives Sony phones high scores. They are able to set up each shot in a manner that allows for objective analysis of each scene. However, their results are rarely representative of what people get on point and shoot situations. Check any YouTube comparison and you'll see that Sony photos just don't look as good when placed next to the leading competition. It's not a trick, it's not just a single review, it's a trend.
But why do I need to convince you. You saw the videos, right? The evidence is all there. The Sony simply underperformed and the overheating issue is consistent with other reviewers well. It's a shame though because we need Sony to succeed. They make great phones and I want another compact flagship some day.
