Another P10 Plus Bricked after Oreo.

Hello guys,

ive been trying since friday to Downgrade from Oreo to Nougat, in the proces my phone got bricked.

ive followed this steps:

I use the VKY-L29C432B185 firmware for rollback, adding it to the HWOTA8 folder in my sdcard, after flashing, the phone stays in error:

Error!
Func NO : 10 (boot image)
Error No : 2 (load failed)
if i tried to go to recovery via vol Up + power then got
Func No : 11 ( recovery image)
Error No: 2 ( load failed)

After this, ive unzipped and unpacked the update.app from oreo, and install ramdisk.img, recovery_ramdisk.img and kernel.img and the error dissapears, after that i install again twrp and try. but no success.

I can access to Fastboot, and i can flash via fastboot twrp and stock recovery (via fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk imgfile.img),

Has anyone faced this problem as well?

Oh my god! i think that ive fixed the phone! here is what ive done so far:

First of all, i was stuck in Error mode:

Error!
Func NO : 10 (boot image)
Error No : 2 (load failed)
if i tried to go to recovery via vol Up + power then got
Func No : 11 ( recovery image)
Error No: 2 ( load failed)

In order to clean that up, you have to unpack an update.app from oreo, flash kernel.img and recovery_ramdisk.img

From this, you can access to the stock recovery, also you can flash twrp and boot from it again.

After completing this, here is the fun part:

1. Download Oreo Again VKY-L29C432B360 and rename the files (you know.)
2.Using HWOTA8, copy the files from VKY-L29C432B360 to HWOTA8 on a SDCard, with hwota8_update.zip and MHA_RECOVERY8_NoCheck.img and insert it to the phone
3. Install TWRP using the Replace_Recovery.bat
4. Boot from TWRP, and install zip hwota8_update.zip.
5. The phone will reboot and show the same error Func No : 11 ( recovery image) DONT PANIC.
6. Power off the phone, and quickly press the Vol - button and plug the usb cable to enter fastboot.
7. Flash the recovery found in HWOTA8 file from your pc: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk MHA_RECOVERY8_NoCheck.img.
8. Power Off your device, and quickly boot to Recovery (the stock one, that we just flashed)
9. The install process (Started in TWRP) WILL CONTINUE!!!.
10. Your phone boots again in android Oreo B360 (but with locked bootloader in my case)

I hope it helps! i almost purshase the unbrick from FunkyHuawei... $50.00!
