Any experiences with A12.1 based Roms in terms of battery life yet?

Especially regarding crDroid, Lineage official and PixelExp, as they seem to be the most polished ones. Also in comparison to Android 11 based stuff.

Android 11 is better in battery life than Android 12. But the best android 12 battery friendly rom I found is Awaken. But I prefer crdroid and lineage 19.1 which aren't bad on battery life

How much of a difference can be expected? I am still on crDroid 7.15 as in the last few builds active drain was significantly improved.

Expect between 5 to 6 hours sot with crdroid 8

Is this something we'll have to live with because Android 12 or is this just temporarily and the devs are trying to get it back to the previous level? I mean how good/bad was early A11? I can wait.

Also, how much does the kernel influence that? NGK works with A10, 11 and 12.

Yes it's just how android 12 is I'm afraid. Best battery life on awaken up to 8 hours with silvercore. Kernel will make a bit of a difference but even oem android 12 uses more battery then android 11.

Expect maybe 6 to 7 but screen responsiveness not as good I don't think
