Any idea when we get official software update for canvas magnus

Almost all vendors have given kitkat update except our Micromax.
They are mentioning in Twitter that they are working on providing the update from long time.
But no update yet.
This seems to be very bad strategy from Micromax.

Lava., moto, gionee, oppo, xiomi, Samsung, lenovo, htc, sony... Every one has given it....

People are definitely loosing interest on Micromax as they are not sticking to their promise.

Guys., any one has any idea when it's going to be available?
Any expected date?
Any hopes?
Please respond your voice, let's make this go to Micromax.

Maybe Never

Judging by the number of phones they have been churning out especially the Android One lately I really suspect they will provide support for the now almost legacy devices. Rooting and porting other ROMs will be the best bet. No MMX phones of JB era has recieved any upgrades as far as I know.

they are responding same to all questions related to update, irrespective model mentioned in question and for kitkat as well as lollipop upate questions...and same msg from last 6 months+.
shame on them for such a irresponsible answer.

Cyanogen and Micromax

Any benefit to our canvas magnus phone because of cyanogen and Micromax tie up...
Can we expect latest Cyanogen ROM compatible for all canvas devices? as Mmx is claiming to provide latest updates to all its major camvas phoned thru twitter posts.

Lets hope for best... And we may get lollipop update to canvas magnus with Cyanogen's support.

Only Something Can happen if cyanogenmod Release a device with Micromax Running on MTK6589/t chipsets as we can have their source or can directly port them to our magnus and cink five devices So lets hope for the best

Yes agree... As an experienced developers of Roms Cyanogen can able to create one if Mmx is ready to pay for it

official updates are not gonna be available but unofficial kitkat roms are available in the developement section e.g CM,Mokee,AOSB etc.
